Dr. Farber first earned his Postdoctoral Degree in Bioengineering and Applied Mathematics at the Central Research Institute of Prosthetics and Orthotics in Moscow. He then received his Ph.D. in Robotics at the University of Information Technologies, Radio Engineering and Electronics, also in Moscow. He also earned a second Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the Central Research Institute of Prosthetics and Orthotics also in Moscow, and a Dr. Sci. degree — a higher doctorate reserved for individuals who lend significant contributions to science — from Peter the Great Polytechnic University in St. Petersburg.

Today, Dr. Farber brings 43 years of experience to the field and has worked in his current position for 19 years. Previously, Dr. Farber worked as the Director of Science at the Central Research Institute of Prosthetics, then moving to a role as a Senior Scientist for Mauch Labs, Inc. He went on to an entrepreneurial role as founder of InvaPomosh, Inc., the Technological Industry of Prosthetics and Orthotics, Inc., Ortho-Space, Inc. and most recently, American Medical Technologies and Noigel, LLC, where he has been since 2005 and 2010, respectively “I attribute my success to trying to understand a system and seeing the global picture using broad vision,” Dr. Farber said. “Knowing to focus on the system and people is key to my success.”
