Mary Jane Platt

Mary Jane Platt is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the field of Retail in recognition of her role as Store Manager at S&P Golf. Established since 2004, S&P Golf has been “building, customizing and repairing thousands of golf clubs to improve golfers’ swing performance and playability,” according to the store’s website. “Using the same suppliers as professional golfers, we give customers direct access to the same advances in technology and customization.

As a UST Tour and True Temper Tour Concept shop, we have certified professionals to assist you with all your golfing needs.” Additionally, S&P Golf offers a Custom Fitting Bay where golfers can swing clubs of their choice, a Full-Service Production Workshop and a Club Repair Center. In recognition of its outstanding service, the store was named to KZG world’s Top 100 ClubFitters in 2010. As Store Manager at S&P Golf, which specializes in golf retail and exceptional customer service, Platt handles customer service, data management and just about everything else other than custom fitting of clubs, and considers herself a “people person.” “S&P Golf likes to focus on cost-effective solutions,” Platt said.

“They are not in business just to sell things, but to improve each golfer’s game and build client relationships.” Throughout the course of her education and training, Platt graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 2004, then went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Drury University in 2008 and also studied Psychology at Missouri State University in 2010. To further her professional development, Platt is a member of the National Association of Professional Women. When not working, she devotes her time to charities that support animal welfare, particularly the ASPCA and the Arkansas Freedom Fund. Platt dedicates this recognition to the loving memory of her father, Robert Platt; as well as to her mother, Roxana Whitner; her stepfather, Flip Whitner; and her grandmother, Mary Harsh, who inspired her.
