Kristine van den Berghe

 

Kristine van den Berghe is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of her work in the Biotech field. As Manager of Ecocyte Bioscience US, LLC, the biotechnology company specializes in both electrophysiology and animal husbandry.

The company provides services in for pharmacological studies including Heterologous expression and In vitro electrophysiology. Furthermore, throughout the duration of her career, Van den Berghe attained skills in customer service, experimental design, animal research and care, as well as site safety and quality control. The company has recently opened an online shop that provides high quality, low cost lab chemicals and solutions used in electrophysiology.

Products offered at the online shop (located at ecocyteshop.com) include Sodium Chloride, HEPES, Potassium Chloride, Dead Sea Magnesium chloride flakes and salts, and a myriad of lab accessories equipment. Throughout the course of her education, Van den Berghe attained her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Anthropology from Tulane University. She then went on to complete her Master of Science degree from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, where she earned the Outstanding Student Leadership Award as Secretary of Student Government Association.

To further her professional development, she is a member of the National Association of Professional Women. When not working, Van den Berghe devotes time to causes like Planned Parenthood, Project Esperanza and Fresh Chef’s Society. She also enjoys kickboxing at ATX Boxing, Kickboxing and Submission Wrestling, kayaking, riding bikes, and playing with her dog, Molly. Van den Berghe dedicates this recognition to her wonderful husband Cory, and her loving family and friends.
