Tierney has delivered corporate value through C-level advisory roles, leveraging IT solutions, analytic modeling, business/IT alignment, and keen aptitude for influencing decisions that drive rapid and sustainable growth. Tierney is recognized as a pivotal leader in global IT/Business Operations, leading multimillion-dollar complex, transformative projects, new technology implementation, consultative selling, IT infrastructure, as well as solidifying strong client relationships. She has a strong legacy in leading tactical business expansion, IT/business operational improvements, and revenue yielding initiatives that propel an organization to the forefront of its market share.

Tierney is an expert in building, leading and developing top-performing teams, embracing diversity and managing through an open door management style. A testament to her achievements, Tierney has successfully implemented and managed several multi-million dollar global projects throughout the course of her career. During her tenure in sales, Tierney closed $750M+ in outsourcing sales. In her role as a Consultant she saved $100M+ annually (up to 30%) in IT contract negotiations for hardware/software, telecom and managed/professional networking services for Fortune 50/100 external clients. Recognized by the National Association of Professional Women as a VIP Woman of The Year, Tierney enjoys quality family time, long distance running, and volunteering at a local animal shelter.

Tierney attributes her success to a perpetual desire to learn and mastering new skills, and her core belief that employees are the most important of corporate assets. Tierney’s advice to those entering the industry is to find great mentors, use change to build fresh perspective, eat lunch with one new person every week – you will be amazed at how much you can learn breaking bread with a colleague. Furthermore, Tierney earned her Master of Business Administration degree from the University of San Francisco following her Bachelor of Arts in European History from the University of California at Berkeley. When she is not working, Tierney enjoys distance running, gardening, time with family and volunteering at a local animal shelter.
