George S. Paris

George S. Paris is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Art as a result of his roles as Artist, Craftsman and Writer. Working for his own art company, George specializes

in sculpture; writing; acting; poetry; pottery; education; woodworking; painting; and drawing. In addition, George has recorded a CD, entitled “Back When I Was Alive” which contains 14 stories of growing up in western Kansas during the Dust Bowl. He is also the author of a novel, Distant Home, a work of Historical Fiction published in 2011. Prior to his foray into pursing art full time, George taught art for nine years in a local high school and also served on the staff of the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library for almost 16 years. Furthermore, George was ordained in the United Methodist Church and served in campus ministry work until 1970. George earned an Undergraduate Degree from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas and also holds Masters Degrees from Vanderbilt University in Nashville and Union Theological Seminary (Columbia University) in New York City.
