Deidre Smith is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the Acupuncture Therapy field. Smith’s professional title is Owner of Arcadia Acupuncture Clinic, which specializes in acupuncture therapy. She established he acupuncture practice in 2008, and brings over 15 years of career experience, as well as expertise in oriental medicine, functional medicine, pain syndrome and fertility, to her role. “My goal is to empower my patients with an understanding of their bodies and health,” Smith said. “By doing so, they will have the power to choose the treatments and products that fit their lifestyles and needs.” Smith attended Oregon College of Medicine and then furthered her training in Nanjing, China, where she completed internships in three hospitals specializing in women’s health, fertility and oncology. She is also Board certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and has continued her education with completion of both the Mastering Functional Blood Chemistry program, as well as the Aroma Acu-Point Therapy Workshop.
