Continental Who’s Who recognizes Sandra Brown-Bryant as a Pinnacle Professional Member in recognition of her contributions to the Healthcare field. Brown-Bryant serves as CEO of Abiding Angels HCS (Home and Community Service), which specializes in support services for individuals with special needs. She brings over 25 years of experience to her community, following her previous position as Owner and Operator of San’s Lil Angels Daycare. Abiding Angels provides services including supervises living, residential support, foster companion care, supportive living, respite, nursing, day habilitation, speech/language, occupational therapy, physical therapy and dietary, psychology and audiology services, as well as supportive employment assistance and adaptive aides. In addition, Abiding Angels “protect(s) the individual’s rights and privacy” and prides itself on “treat[ing] each person with the respect that they deserve.” According to the organization’s website, Brown-Bryant started Abiding Angels in 2008 “out of the care and compassion she has for individuals in need of special service to function from day-to-day tasks.” In her role, Brown-Bryant focuses on placement and support services utilizing her expertise in case management, childcare, and placement services and operations management. The company also holds an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. “I have known Sandra Brown-Bryant for a number of years and was very happy when Abiding Angels Healthcare Services started,” said Kathy Anderson, Habilitator at Expanco, Inc., said on the organization’s website. “[She] has a genuine love for helping people and it shows in the consumers she provides for. She makes face-go-face visits monthly and calls on a frequent basis to see if there is anything she can do to make things more smoothly.” To further her professional development, Brown-Bryant is a member of the NAACP and the National Association of Professional Women, which honored her as a VIP Woman of the Year. Additionally, she holds a membership with the Fort Worth Black Chamber of Commerce, and is on the Board of Trustees of her local church. Her favorite charities are those that stand in the fight against Breast Cancer, as well as St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and the Special Olympics. Sandra’s ultimate goal is to bring progressive development psychology to the table with Abiding Angels. She wants to be the kind of caregiver that society needs; one who creates unease and shuffles the deck where normalcy and complacency have taken root in this field. She wants her company to be family-oriented and create good relationships between her staff and clients. When not working, Brown-Bryant enjoys swimming, listening to music, reading and travel.
