Joshua Allen Cohen, MS, DC is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the field of Chiropractic Medicine in recognition of his role as Chiropractor at Cohen Trigger Point Center.

Serving the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania residents for over forty two years, Cohen Trigger Point Center has had a longstanding success in establishing itself as a prominent medical facility offering exceptional customer service to its residents. Dedicated to providing their patients with the quality healthcare service that they deserve, the center specializes in providing “a muscular based approach to pain known as the Nimmo Trigger Point Technique. It is a neuro-musculo-skeletal approach to treating the pain process. Through this technique, he is able to treat and influence the neurological patterns of spasm and inflammation that all of our muscles fall into, over time.” Understanding that pain is different for everyone, the center lends a compassionate approach in catering to their clients individual needs.

Having joined the practice since 2000, Dr. Joshua Allen Cohen has become a trusted name in the field. Throughout his career, Dr. Cohen has attained extensive expertise in the area of Trigger Point Therapy and Nutritional Counseling. Both he and his father Dr. Jeffrey Cohen co-labored together in working with the Pittsburgh Steelers during their Super Bowl win in Detroit.

Early in his career, Dr. Cohen attended New York Chiropractic College where he attained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. After graduation, Dr. Cohen attained his Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition, from the University of Bridgeport.

Certified to teach the Nimmo Trigger Point Technique, also known as the NimmoCare method, Dr. Cohen is an Adjunct Faculty member at the New York Chiropractic College, and has taught Nimmo’s trigger point therapy there for over 10 years.

When he is not working, Dr. Cohen is an avid yoga practitioner, and weight lifter, and cyclist. He has completed many 100 mile mountain bike races, and is also a regular participant in the MS150.
