Sharon Scherl, MD

Sharon Scherl, MD is recognized by Continental Who’s Who  as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Medicine as a Dermatologist at Scherl Dermatology.
Focusing on Cosmetic and Medical Dermatology, Scherl Dermatology is dedicated to the medical treatment of adult and pediatric skin disorders, skin cancers, skin surgery, laser surgery and a variety of cosmetic procedures.
Before her time at Scherl Dermatology, Dr. Scherl was the Previous Clinical Consultant IntraDerm Pharmaceutical. A leader in her field, Dr. Scherl recalls her greatest accomplishment was her ten year term as Chief of the Department of Dermatology at Englewood Hospital.
Throughout her education and training, Dr. Scherl earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia University and her Medical Degree from New York Medical College. Following this, she finished her Internship Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai  Hospital-NYC and her Dermatology Residency at New York Medical College. Additionally, Dr. Scherl is Board Certified American Board of Dermatology.  
To further her professional development, Dr. Scherl is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Dermatological Society of New Jersey.
In acknowledgment of her professional achievements, Dr. Scherl has been honored by America’s Top Doctors 2012, 2014 & 2016, the Consumer Guide to Outstanding Physicians listing, the NY Magazine “Top Doctors” issue (multiple times), Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, Joan P Liman Award, William Cullen Bryant Award, Janet M Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation, and Cor et Manus Award of Distinction.
In her free time, Dr. Scherl is an avid skier. She is also an ardent bike rider, exercise fanatic, and oenophile with a small collection of wines from around the world.
Dr. Scherl dedicates this recognition in loving memory of her  Sam Scherl, MD and her father, Newton Scherl, MD. She also dedicates this to her mother, Sheila Scherl, and Howard Levy, MD.
