Caroline Fraser Okonkowski, DMD is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Dentist as a Co-Owner and Dental Practitioner at Shwedel Dental.
With an impeccable reputation online and through word of mouth, Shwedel Dental is a Taylor based family dentist practice that  treats patients of all ages. Amassing over 17 years of experience in the dental field,  Dr. Okonkowski joined the practice of Shwedel Dental in 2009. Providing the highest level of care and compassion, Dr. Okonkowski specializes in General, Cosmetic, and Laser Dentistry. Dr. Okonkowski’s reputation is of such high standing that her patients travel past state lines to receive her care. 
For 10 years, Dr. Okonkowski has co-hosted an event which provides free dental treatment to adults in need called “Dentistry from the Heart.”
Equipped with an exceptional educational background, Dr. Okonkowski graduated from University of Montreal, Canada in 2002 and completed an Advanced Clinical Education in general dentistry in 2003. Following this, Dr. Okonkowski completed her residency at the University of Laval. To bolster her professional credentials, Dr. Okonkowski is also a certified Invisalign provider.
To further her professional developments, Dr. Okonkowski is a Member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Scheduling Institute; She is also an Associate Fellow of the World Laser Institute. 
In recognition of her achievements, Dr. Okonkowski has been featured in national magazines, such as Dentaltown and in local newspapers, including The News Herald and Taylor Today. Honored with “America’s Best Dentist” and “Leading Physicians of the World” awards, Dr. Okonkowski has been additionally awarded as “Top Dentist USA” in 2016, 2017, and 2018. 
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. Linguistically capable, Dr. Okonkowski also speaks French fluently. Charitable in nature, she is involved in multiple fundraisers, sponsorships and community events.
