Shea A. Cronley, MD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Pediatric Doctor for her work as a Pediatrician with Advocare Society Hill Pediatrics.
Founded by Dr. Shea A. Cronley and associates in 1986, Advocare Society Hill Pediatrics is a private practice made up of almost a dozen doctors that specialize solely in child healthcare, treating patients from infancy to their early twenties. In their over 30 years of practice, they have enjoyed treating whole families into their new generations.
Dr. Cronley had known for as long as she could remember that she wanted to study pediatric medicine, donning a nurse’s uniform as a little girl to have fun dreaming about the life she would later live. In her three decades of practicing medicine, one of the most important lessons she has taken away and would recommend to those following along the same path, is to truly listen, and to keep an open mind.
Graduating from Wittenberg University, Dr. Cronley earned a Bachelor’s of Science in 1977. She continued on to receive her Medical degree from Wright State University, graduating in 1982. Dr. Cronley completed her residency at Dayton Children’s Hospital in 1985, where shortly after she completed a Robert Wood Johnson Fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Advocating for a mother’s rights, Dr. Cronley has been a member of the breastfeeding committee at Pennsylvania Hospital, a recipient of “Baby Friendly” designation. She is currently a diplomat of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a consulting physician for Germantown Friends School in Philadelphia.
Dr. Cronley would like to dedicate this recognition to her husband, Jeffrey Reed, and her mentor, Dr. Bidi McSorley.
