Sophie Bartisch, MD, FACS is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Medicine as a Plastic Surgeon and at her private practice.
Born and raised in New York City Dr. Sophie Bartisch, MD, FACS private practice is known as the top plastic surgery practices located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Her areas of expertise include breast surgery, and post partum abdominal reconstruction. Mainly her research focus is cosmetic breast surgery. This began with work on implant-based complications during her residency as early as 2010, since then obtaining 9 years of professional experience. Dr. Bartisch is aware natural beauty is not a “cookie cutter operation”. Proficiency in attention to detail, intuition and artistry is what makes her a great plastic surgeon. She is also the founder of a Biotech company that studies breast cancer immunology.
To begin setting forth in her career Dr. Sophie Bartisch first completed her premedical studies at Columbia University. Following her premedical studies, she received her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College. Meanwhile her undergraduate degree is in psychology from Cornell University. Later she completed her Internship and residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Plastic Surgery Residency and Internship.
Dr. Bartsich is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and serves as Panelist invited yearly on the Doximity Physician Panel. She is also affiliated with the State Troopers Association.
In her personal time, Dr. Bartsich has trained in Muay Thai for 15 years. She also has a background in art and dance, and enjoys cooking daily.
Dr. Bartsich dedicates her success to her mentors Dr. Jeffrey Ascherman and Mark Schwartz, and she attributes her inspiration in Biotech to Dr. Shari Midoneck.
