Donald E. Craven, MD is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Research as a Infectious Disease Specialist and Professor Emeritus at the Lahey Clinic.

Dr. Donald E. Craven is an expert and a dedicated infectious disease for medical research at Lahey Health. His area of expertise is Infectious Disease Research for HIV/AIDS. Dr. Craven has been in the field of medicine for more than 40 years.

One of the cases he worked on was a young boy with HIV/AIDS. His parents were very helpful and understanding. When it comes to treatment Dr. Craven says:”Depends on the individual. A lot of it is luck. It’s important to work as a team player.”

Inspired by his siblings, his brother Raymond Craven was in the medical field and went to Harvard. His sister Gladys Vivian Craven was one of the best tennis players in the North East, but was diagnosed with Polio. In recognition for his academic success Dr. Craven attended Albany Medical College, for his Medical Degree. Following, he went to McGill University to continue his Residency and earn a Fellowship. And later attended Boston University earned his Fellowship, and continued education and for his expertise in Infectious Disease.

Dr. Donald E. Craven would like to dedicate his success to his five children, brother Raymond Craven ”Thank you for your continuing love and support” and In loving memory of his sister Gladys Vivian Craven .
