Jon D. Norberg, M.D., is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Medicine as a Hand Surgeon at Sanford Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.
Dr. Norberg serves as the lead physician for the Sanford Department of Hand Surgery. The office is located at 2301 25th St. South, offering orthopedic surgery for carpal tunnel, trigger finger, fractures, arthritis, tendon injuries, dislocations, and cysts.
In preparation for his career, Dr. Norberg attended the University of Minnesota and the University of North Dakota for undergraduate studies. Then, he attended the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences for a medical degree. For post-education training, he worked as an orthopedic resident at Summa Health System in OH, hand and surgery fellow at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and an upper extremity fellow at Western Pennsylvania Hand & Trauma Center.
Remaining up-to-date on advancements in his field, Dr. Norberg is the American Association for Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
When he is not working, Dr. Norberg enjoys traveling, playing racquetball and soccer, scuba diving, hunting, and spending time with his three children.
