With a warm and welcoming atmosphere, their teams of physicians handle family medicine, house calls, community health, and teaching Residents through the New Rance Health Residency Program.

Dr. Sharagim Kemp has 18 years’ experience working with generations of families in hospital practice. Board Certified in Family Practice and OMT, her main areas of focus being family practice and community health, and Rheumatology. Unlike other medical specialists who focus on a specific type of disease and the circumstances or a particular part of the body and how to treat it, family medicine practitioners provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages through all stages of life.

To advance into her professional career, Dr. Kemp studied with the University of Health Sciences earning her designation Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. She then attended the University of California, receiving her Bachelor of Sciences in Biology and continuing education for her residency for Family Practice at UMDNJ. Since, she is an invited member of the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association.

Nominated for leadership training with Nuvance Health, Dr. Sharagim built HQMP in Rhinebeck with the current partner of 10 years from the ground up. She helped facilitate virtual FM residency during the COVID-19 crisis, piloting first virtual rotation for Nuvance Health. She continues to work tirelessly with residents to create virtual visit protocols, helping to further telemedicine for Nuvance Health. As well as continuing leadership training and setting standards for long term study to be published at a later time.

In her free time, Dr. Kemp enjoys swimming, cooking, entertaining friends and family, ready, writing, boating, and anything that involves spending quality time with my husband and children. Also, she volunteers for the Anderson School of Autism and Lions Club International.

Dr. Sharagim Kemp would like to dedicate her success to her parents Sudi and Toby Kash, and her husband Mr. Sean Kemp, married for 15 years.
