As a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician and Concierge Doctor, Dr. Kelenne V. Tuitt has garnered a well-deserving reputation for her devotion to helping busy Caribbean people achieve optimal health on the go. She has been in practice for almost 10 years and offers a vast repertoire of experience, interest, and expertise in the prevention of chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, chronic kidney disease, strokes, and obesity. In her current capacity, she is serving patients at her concierge and telemedicine company, My Caribbean Doctor PC for the past two years. She had established her practice through her passion for working with underserved and rural communities to provide the best care possible where others thought infrastructure and financial discourse would be obstacles.

Born in Trinidad, West Indies, and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Tuitt obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University in 2005, a Master of Biomedical Sciences and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degrees from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. While pursuing her Doctorate, she was inducted in the Sigma Sigma Phi, a prestigious osteopathic society. She is also the recipient of the “Biomedical Student of the Year Award” and “First-Year Member of the Year Award” by the Student National Medical Association in 2007 and 2008. Dr. Tuitt completed her family medicine residency and a traditional rotating internship in 2014 from Inspira Medical Center in New Jersey. With a commitment to excellence, Dr. Tuitt is board-certified in Family Medicine and is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, as well as the American Academy of Family Physicians. She also serves as the Corresponding Secretary with the Charleston County Medical, Dental, and Pharmaceutical Association since 2016.

Throughout her career, Dr. Tuitt has taught medical students as an Associate Clinical Professor at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is in a constant pursuit to share her breadth of expertise through her many years of coaching business people, entertainers, and athletes through a personalized approach. She is committed to investing in your health, as well as producing the best results for you. Additionally, Dr. Tuitt is a highly sought-after national speaker.

In her spare time, Dr. Tuitt enjoys traveling and dancing. She is also dedicated to service and mentorship. She has traveled to Neyba, Dominican Republic, Saraya, Senegal, and Kingston, Jamaica for medical missions. During these missions, she has worked with the Missionaries of the Poor (MOP), a non-profit, Catholic, charitable organization that has provided permanent shelter, food, clothing, and medicine to over 2000 disabled persons through 6 centers dispersed throughout the slums of Kingston, Jamaica. She has worked closely with the Student National Medical Association (SNMA), participated at health fairs, hosted education workshops, mentored high school students interested in the health professions, and fed the homeless. Currently, Dr. Tuitt enjoys serving the Church of the Living God by devoting her time to the food pantry, feeding the homeless in Manhattan, and hosting the annual community health fair.
