Terri A. Howell

Terri A. Howell is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Insurance. Terri is the Director of Provider Relations and Member Retention with Health Net. Health Net is one of the largest publicly traded managed health care companies in America, and they work  with individuals and families to provide them with quality and cost-effective health care coverage.  In her current capacity, Terri works closely with client  relations, employee development, leadership management, provider relations, sales management and more.  

 

She is responsible for the hiring and training of new employees and is a member of the California Association of Health Plans and the National Association of Professional Women, where she was recognized as an NAPW VIP Woman of The Year. Her advice to those starting out in the industry is to “keep your ears open and mouth closed,” and looking into  the future, Terri hopes to create programs for managers  regarding the topics of succession, training, and membership growth. Outside of work, she enjoys riding horses, reading, travel, scuba diving, and skiing.  Reflecting on her educational career, Terri graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing.
