Dr. John Yacenda is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Non-Profit Organization. Dr. Yacenda is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Dreams Foundation, Inc. The Dreams Foundation, Inc. was founded by husband and wife Dr. John and Terry Yacenda as a result of their drive to help people make their dreams come true.
With decades of professional experience, Dr. Yacenda applies his knowledge and background in non-profit organizations and human services; he helps individuals, families, communities and more from both non-discretionary and discretionary funding accounts. An Ordained Minister, Dr. Yacenda has published four books and founded the Ventura County Council of Free Clinics.
Before the Dreams Foundation came to light, he was the Director and Spiritual Leader of an adolescent and teen challenge center, and had also served as a Campus College Chair of the College of Social and Counseling Sciences with the University of Phoenix. In his spare time, Dr. Yacenda enjoys skiing, golfing and working out. He has several degrees from accredited colleges and universities as well.
Dr. Yacenda earned his Ph.D. in Psychology from Union Institute and University, and holds a Master’s degree in Public Health degree from University of California at Los Angeles.
