Ann E. Staley

Ann E. Staley is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Education as a result of her role as Teacher, Writer and Owner of Pen-In-Hand.

 A seasoned education professional with over four decades of experience, Ann owns her private education consulting company where her main services include writing and poetry workshops. She teaches all levels, along with 1st Grader Teacher Training & Supervision. Maintaining affiliation with the Oregon Writing Project and the American Academy of Poets, Ann was nominated for an Oregon Book Award and for Oregon Poet Laureate.

 

 In her spare time, she enjoys quality family time, cats and monitoring students. Ann has published two books of poems, “Primary Sources” and “Instructions For the Wishing Light”, booktrope Seattle, WA. Forthcoming, “Afternoon Sky”. Throughout the course of her education and training, Ann earned her MS in Planning and Public Analysis from Stanford University. Additionally, she received both her MA in Teaching and MA in Humanities from Southern Oregon University, as well as a BS in English from Penn State University.
