Dorothy E. Miller is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Education. Dorothy is a Professor of English and Humanities at Harford Community College.
Founded in 1957, Harford Community College offers over 80 degree and certificate programs to nearly 2,000 full time and 8,200 part time students. Acting as an open access institution, HCC provides transfer, individual goal attainment and graduation assistance; as well as career and workforce development programs in addition to their array of higher education coursework.
A seasoned education professional with over four decades of experience, Dorothy’s areas of concentration include consulting, instruction, lesson planning and planning state exams and standards. Recognized by the National Association of Professional Women as a VIP Woman of the Year, Dorothy enjoys gardening, golf, travel, reading and spending time with family in her time out of class. She is passionate towards organizations including the Alzheimer's Foundation and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Throughout the course of her studies, Dorothy received her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.), Higher Education in Organizational Theory and Finance from Teachers College of Columbia University.
