Dr. David V. Lopez, M.D., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who in the field of Medicine as a result of his role as Orthopedic Surgeon with his own practice, David V. Lopez, M.D., Orthopaedic Sports Medicine.
Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, Dr. Lopez’s areas of concentration include: general orthopaedics, sports medicine, minimally invasive surgeries and more. He has extensive training in procedures such as arthroscopic surgery, hip and joint replacements, shoulder replacement, endoscopic carpel tunnel, robotic surgery, direct anterior hip approach and more. He is fellowship trained in sports medicine, where he performed Independent Medical Exams for injured NFL players. With over a decade of professional experience, Dr. Lopez maintains affiliation with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the New Jersey Orthopaedic Society. He was recognized in 2014 by New Jersey Top Doctors, and is a contributing author to the book “Field Guide to Fracture Management.”
In addition, Dr. Lopez has co-authored several scientific articles. Throughout the course of his education and training, Dr. Lopez earned his Medical Degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Cornell University. He received an Orthopaedic Surgery Certificate from Seton Hall University, where he held the position as Chief Resident at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson, NJ.
