As Manager, Solange works closely in the areas of accounting and finance, engineering, human resources, management, maritime operations, quality control, safety and health issues and more. Heavily educated and involved in the industry, Solange maintains affiliation with the Maritime Business Intelligence Group and the National Association of Professional Women, where she was recognized as a NAPW VIP Woman of the Year. Throughout the course of her education and training, Solange earned her Master of Science Degree in Engineering and Industrial Management from the University of Aveiro in Portugal.
