Earl Stevens, RAS, is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Social Services. Earl is the P.M. Supervisor with Behavioral Health Services. Behavioral Health Services is a community-based, non-profit healthcare organization providing mental health, substance abuse, drug-free transitional living, older adult services, HIV/AIDS education and prevention, and various related health services to the local community. In this capacity, Earl specializes in drug and alcohol rehabilitation services, and he is responsible for patient care and safety in a 50 bed detox and 150 bed residential setting.
He oversees the employees as well as maintains the day to day operations. Earl has been working at BHS for the past two years and has been in the industry for fifteen years. Before taking his position with BHS, Earl served in the US Navy from 1968-1990 before retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer III. In addition, he served as an Instructor for three years in the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Furthermore, Earl is a Certified Addiction Counselor, and holds a Certificate in Mental Illness from UCLA, and is a Registered Addiction Specialist (KAS) through the Brining Institute. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, and is on the Board of Directors of “Hole in the Wall”, which assists veterans struggling with addiction and PTSD.
