Amani Meligy

Amani Meligy is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Engineering. Amani is a P.E., PMP, and LEED Green Associate with ASC Engineers and Associates, Inc. and previously, with Dar SSH International ConsultantsKuwait Branch. Amani is a seasoned engineering professional with more than twenty years of engineering experience under her belt. In her current capacity, she specializes in technical, civil and structural engineering, design, construction, project management and production, quality assurance and control, risk management, client satisfaction, communications and more.

 Amani’s expertise also expands to include commercial, residential, industrial, educational low rise and high rise building structures, new development and infrastructure. With her vast knowledge of the Middle East and Gulf Region regulations, Amani has utilized her skill set to aid in the structural design of an array of prestigious civil/structural engineering projects across the globe in locations including Algeria, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Abu Dhabi and Egypt. Additionally, Amani has spent time working as a joint venture with international consultancy firms in the UK and Canada, and she attended several value engineering workshops in the UK, Kuwait, Oman and Dubai.

 

 Heavily trained in her profession, Amani holds several industry related certifications. She is a Registered Civil Professional Engineer in California from the Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists, a Certified Civil Engineer from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying- NCEES and holds a LEED Green Associate credential from the US Green Building Institute. Furthermore, Amani is also a globally Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute, and a Certified Consultant Engineer in Design and Supervision in the field of Civil Engineering from the Engineers Chartering Council- Kuwait Society of Engineers. Recognized by the National Association of Professional Women as NAPW 2014 VIP Woman of the Year, Amani enjoys cooking, Reiki meditation, reading and swimming in her spare time. An alumni of Cairo University, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA Program.
