Dr. Harty E. Ashby

Dr. Harty E. Ashby, D.O., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Medicine as a result of her role as a Dermatologist at Pikeville Medical Center. Pikeville Medical Center has been serving patients with the highest standard of care for the past 89 years. Now a proud member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, the 261 bed facility is home to over 400 services, including every major specialty and most subspecialties. Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology and Dermatopathology, Dr. Ashby’s areas of concentration include dermatology, dermapathology, anatomic and clinical pathology, surgical pathology, medical education, laboratory medicine, research and more. She possesses a decade of hands on medical experience.

 

In addition to working at the hospital, Dr. Ashby is the Assistant Director of the Quality Assurance Program at Miraca Life Sciences, and is part of the volunteer faculty with the Pikeville Medical Center Residency Program. Recognized by Doctors of Excellence, she enjoys photography, tennis and yoga in her spare time. Dr. Ashby attained her Medical degree from the University of Pikeville-Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Internship at Pikeville Medical Center, her Residency at Tufts Medical Center and holds an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Kentucky, where she graduated cum laude.
