Dana Rucco

Dana Rucco is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Healthcare. Dana is the Director of Pharmacy at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. As one of the nation’s largest providers of first class healthcare, Long Island Jewish Medical Center is home to a variety of physicians providing award-winning care throughout a multitude of medical specialties. Garnering over thirty years in the industry, Dana has been the Director of Pharmacy for three years. In this capacity, she is responsible for coaching, training and providing technical guidelines to pharmacy staff.

 

A member of ASHSP, NYSCHP and NAPW, Dana states her key to success is “accepting and embracing change in healthcare and empathy for employees and professionals you work with” and her advice for those entering the industry is “have patience and love what you do”. Throughout the course of her education and training, Dana attended St. John’s University where she graduated with both her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Pharmacy.
