Dr. Jessica Ingrassellino is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional as a result of her roles as Founder of
Teach Code, Lead QA Engineer at Bitly, and an independent educational consultant and music teacher.
A seasoned professional, Dr. Ingrassellino is a true jack of all trades. With her unique expertise in a variety of areas, she balances multiple positions and wears several hats in each capacity. Dr. Ingrassellino founded Teach Code in 2012 and has been working for Bitly since 2015 as a Computer QA-Lead Engineer. She is also an independent musician and music instructor. Teach Code is a non-profit organization created to give underserved students access to state-of-the-art technology, computer science, and programming skills. In this capacity, her areas of concentration include: curriculum design, coaching, and educational consulting. When she is not busy with Teach Code, Dr. Ingrassellino’s teaches string, brass, woodwind, percussion, and keyboard lessons to students of all ages, and is a New York state Licensed Educator.
Dr. Ingrassellino is also an instructor of Code at Queensborough Community College and is working on a coding book for children due out in 2016. Throughout the course of her educational career, Dr. Ingrassellino received her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) and Master’s of Education (EdM) in Music Teacher Education Assessment and Curriculum from Teachers College of Columbia University, following her undergraduate degree in Music Teacher Education from the University of Vermont.
