Possessing over 40 years of experience, Dr. Binder is an expert healer in pain medicine. Specializing in anesthesiology, interventional pain management and minimally invasive spine surgeries, Dr. Binder is a true workaholic, stating “medicine is [his] life.” Recognized as a 2013 Top Doctor in New Jersey, Dr. Binder is Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management through the American Board of Anesthesiology. His advice to young professionals entering the field is “you have to love what you do and be professional and never stop learning. Always study. With the tremendous technical advances in healthcare, you must remain up to date with changes.” To keep abreast of industry changes and medical advancements, Dr. Binder remains an esteemed member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the New Jersey State Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the New Jersey Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Outside of work, he enjoys quality family time, hiking and jazz and classical music. Dr. Binder’s granddaughter is currently studying medicine and will be a fourth generation doctor. Throughout the course of his education and training, Dr. Binder studied at Krasnoyarsk Medical Academy in Russia and attained his Medical degree at SUNY Buffalo, State University of New York School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, where he also completed his residency. He completed his internship at Brown University.
