Prashant Jolepalem, MD

Prashant Jolepalem, M.D., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Healthcare. Dr. Jolepalem is a Radiologist with Westchester PET and Medical Imaging. Different than an x-ray, MRI or ultrasound scan, a positron emission tomography (PET) scan is a state-of-the-art medical imaging technology that grants medical professionals the ability to visualize abnormal cellular activity throughout the body. In this position for three years, Dr. Jolepalem is a radiologist specializing oncologic and neurological imaging, PET-CT, SPECT-CT and radiotherapy. Board Certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, Dr. Jolepalem has authored over 20 peer-reviewed research articles. He is the recipient of the Robert E. Henkin Fellowship Award in 2016 by the Radiological Society of North America in addition to the 2013 and 2014 W.H. Bierwaltes Award from the Central Chapter of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. A member of the American College of Nuclear Medicine, Dr. Jolepalem serves on several subcommittees with the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging in his time outside of work. He also enjoys hiking, playing golf and quality family time. Beginning his educational career earning his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Michigan, Dr. Jolepalem went on to attain his Medical degree from Saint Matthew’s University School of Medicine.
