Connie M. McCarter

Connie M. McCarter is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals as a result of work in her role as an Inside Sales Trainer with MSC Industrial Supply. Founded by Sid Jacobson in 1941, MSC Industrial Supply works with customers both big and small in the distribution of metalworking and maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) products and services. An Inside Sales Trainer for eight years, Connie specializes in training, teaching and mentoring for new staff. In this capacity, she introduces the necessary training skills and company culture to new associates with the intent to incorporate them into day-to-day operations. Connie’s advice to those entering the field is to “own your skills and practice, practice, practice,” as well as “to be compassionate and aware of businesses and customer’s needs.” To further her professional development, Connie is a member of the National Association of Professional Women. Outside of work, she supports charities such as Making Strides for Breast Cancer and the Alzheimer’s Association.
