Laura Parker

 Laura Parker is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Oil and Gas. Laura is the Vice President, Business Development with Global Valve and Controls.

In business for over a decade, Global Valve & Controls is an API6D Q1 monogram licensed ball, gate, globe, and check valve manufacturer in the U.S. that works closely with distribution centers and end-users, focusing on midstream pipeline projects. GVC also caters to the energy/power, petrochemical, agriculture and food industries. Amassing over 23 years of experience, Laura excels in business development. With a strong core foundation in the areas of corporate account development/ management, contract negotiation, critical thinking combined with strategic planning, quality assurance, operations management, sales and marketing, networking and branding, she is continuously looking for new business opportunities. Mentoring young professionals; however, is her passion.

Laura has been awarded the Who’s Who Executive of the Year in Manufacturing, as well as being recognized as one of the NAPW VIP Women of The Year. In her industry, Laura maintains an affiliation with the Gas Producers Association. In the past year, she has directed her attention toward non-profit organizations for special needs children that can utilize her expertise and influence, such as Night of the Superstars and Macy’s Miracles, in making a difference in the lives of children. In addition to her position with Global Valve and Controls, Laura is the Founder of the Breeson Social Butterfly Organization and Social Butterflyz Media Productions.  Laura represents several singers and authors, with two new books and CD’s to be released in 2017. A graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, Laura earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, which she utilizes every day. She also has her Tad James NLP Practitioner Certification, Life Coach Certification, TimeLine Therapy Certification and will be attended the Public Media Summit.
