Shyann A. West

 Shyann A. West, P.Eng., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Oil and Energy. Her professional title is Test Facilities Manager for Schlumberger Limited.

With a presence in over 85 countries, Schlumberger is a global leader in the technology behind drilling and production, reservoir characterization and general processing to the oil and gas industry. In this capacity, Shyann utilizes 12 years of experience working in upstream (oilfield services) and one year with downstream (refinery) oil and gas services.

 

On a day-today basis, she utilizes her expertise in the areas of customer service, compliance, engineering, procurement, preventive maintenance; manufacturing, upstream oilfield service and recruitment; as well as supply chain and staff management, test facilities, safety and technical support. An esteemed member of the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and the Society of Women Engineers, Shyann holds certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and enjoys flipping houses, softball and quality family time outside of work. Shyann earned her B.Eng in Chemical Engineering from Dalhousie University. She is also an active promoter of STEM education to girls and young women.
