Anat Zelmanovich, M.D., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of her
contributions to the Healthcare field. Dr. Zelmanovich serves as an OB/GYN at Lenox Hill Hospital/Northwell Health.
She has worked in her current position for three years, and brings seven years of practice experience, as well as expertise in obstetrics and gynecology, preventative care, minimally invasive surgery and women’s health, to her role. “As New York State’s largest health care provider and private employer, Northwell Health’s mission is to improve the health of our communities,” the health system’s website states. “Our focus is on prevention, wellness, and providing the full continuum of diagnosis, treatment and after-care services to all those we serve. Our goal is to be a national health care leader, committed to excellence, compassion and improving the health of the community.”
Dr. Zelmanovich earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from Binghamton University. She then went on to complete her Medical degree from Tel Aviv University. Following completion of her medical degree, Dr. Zelmanovich completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and was promoted to Chief Resident during her years spent there. She also served as a Research Technician at New York University from 2002-2005. To further her professional development, Dr. Zelmanovich is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Medical Women’s Association.
In recognition of her work in the field, she has been named to Leading Physicians of the World, and was awarded the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Resident Teaching Award as well as the Julia Zelmanovich M.D. Memorial Award for Medical Excellence and the Ovarian Cancer Award. When not working, Dr. Zelmanovich enjoys ballroom dancing and practicing yoga.
