Dr. Edward C. Fetherolf, M.D. is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a 2016 Prominent Professional in the field of

Amassing over to 35 years of experience in ophthalmology, Dr. Fetherolf is an esteemed ophthalmologist specializing in all facets of general ophthalmology, cataract surgery and implants; as well as cosmetic and eyelid surgeries. In this capacity, he provides all levels of eye care from eye examinations »with fitting of glasses and contact lenses, to medical, surgical and laser treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, retinal problems and other eye diseases. Dr. Fetherolf is especially skilled at treating cataracts with surgery. His goal is not only to rehabilitate the visual function of the eye through cataract removal, but to correct vision from a refractive standpoint and reduce the need for glasses. Through the use of new technologies such as micro incisional surgery with Alcon’s Infinity System, astigmatism reduction with STAAR Toric intraocular lenses and limbal relaxing incisions, and multifocal implants such as ReSTOR AND ReZoom, he blends cataract surgery with refractive surgery to give patients the best vision without glasses that he can provide. Reflecting on his educational career, Dr. Fetherolf earned his M.D. from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed Doctoral Studies at Temple University Medical School. He also holds a Master of Arts degree from Boston University in addition to a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University. Following receipt of his Medical degree, Dr. Fetherolf completed his internship at Abington Memorial Hospital and residency program at St. Francis General Hospital.
