Samina Ahmad, M.D., ALC, CAP is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of her
contributions to the Health and Wellness Field.
Dr. Ahmad’s professional titles are the Founder and CEO of Samina’s Wellness and SSGWI.org, and the Founder/ CEO and Manager of Junoon, Inc. She established Samina’s Wellness seven years ago and brings over 25 years of field experience, as well as expertise in energy healing, fundraising, holistic health, marketing communications and massage therapy, to her role. “I am at the forefront of the wellness movement that is fast becoming the new physical, mental and spiritual basis for present and future generations,” Dr. Ahmad said. Dr. Ahmad established SSGWI.org, also known as the Salman and Samina Global Wellness Initiative, together with her husband Salman Ahmad, the founder of Junoon, the rock band that Dr. Ahmad manages from the business end. “The New York-based NGO focuses on three main areas: interfaith and cross-cultural dialogue; global health and wellness; and music education,” the organization’s website states.
“Throughout their lives, Salman and Samina have worked on raising awareness and bringing people together, through music, media and advocacy. Now, they are launching their non-profit to further enable them to confront health and social challenges and lend their voice to bringing people together.” Dr. Ahmad’s wellness business, Samina’s Wellness, focuses on lifestyle changes. “As your Health Coach, I will listen carefully and help you to navigate the world of contradictory nutrition advice to determine what changes are necessary for you,” Dr. Ahmad said. “Your personalized program will radically improve your health and happiness.
Together, we will explore concerns specific to you and your body and discover the tools you need for a lifetime of balance.” Before beginning all of her career aspirations, Dr. Ahmad earned her Medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Pakistan. To further her professional development, she is a member of AAPNA, Pakistani Physicians of North America and the National Association of Professional Women. She has also adopted a village in Pakistan and built 43 homes on the village’s land. When not working, Dr. Ahmad enjoys exercise, reading and writing.
