Admitted to practice in 1998, Stephanie has been in this position for five years. Prior to joining SP&B Law, she was a former prosecutor in Newport News Virginia and Chesapeake Virginia. Specializing in all facets of criminal law ranging from misdemeanor to felony and capital offenses, Stephanie’s expertise and previous career knowledge has led her for selection as an instructor for various narcotics investigations, constitutional law and civil forfeiture actions for the Chesapeake Police Academy and the Fraternal Order of Police in Hampton Roads, Virginia.

 

 A testament to her success, Stephanie received the Chief’s Award of Recognition by the Chesapeake Police Department and is listed amongst the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers Association. Stephanie also earned a Client Satisfaction award from the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys. Initially beginning her educational career with a Bachelor’s degree in English from Fayetteville State University, Stephanie went on to attain her JD from Mercer School of Law. While in law school, she was presented with the Order of the Barristers award and won the client counseling competition (Eastern District US) and the moot court competition with the Florida Bar Association
