Marilou V. Erb, MS, JD

Marilou V. Erb, M.S., J.D., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Higher Education as a result of her role as Professor at York College of Pennsylvania and a Consultant with AKE Consultants, Incorporated. A home to over fifty undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs, York College of Pennsylvania is a student-centered institution assisting students in their academic endeavors.

Offering a small student to faculty ratio, the university pride themselves on maintaining a strong student focus. Following a successful twenty six year career as a prosecutor and judicial law clerk in criminal justice and law, it wasn’t until after retirement that Erb discovered her passion for teaching.

Having served in her current role for over seventeen years, Erb specializes in several areas which include law, criminal justice, psychology and forensic psychology in teaching and mentoring students. To keep abreast of the latest in the industry, Erb is an esteemed member of the American Psychological Association, American Academy of Forensic Sciences, American Society of Criminology, Society for Police and Criminal Justice, American Psychological Law Society and the International Academy of Investigative Psychologists.

 

Possessing a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology, a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, two Bachelor’s degrees and a Juris Doctor, Erb is well-versed in her areas of work. In addition to her extensive scholarly career, Erb is currently working towards a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
