Keith Baker

Keith Baker is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Performing Arts as a result of his role as Artistic Director at Bristol Riverside Theatre. Celebrating its 29th season, the Bristol Riverside Theatre is an award-winning Equity theatre in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Producing over 200 performances a year, BRT is uniquely set up in a renovated movie house comprised of pristine sound technology, warm lighting and a 300 seat theatre for all events.

An esteemed theatre professional, Baker possesses fifty four years of industry experience. At BRT for the past twenty five years, Baker specializes in arts administration, theatre performance and composition, stage management and the general oversight of production activities. Additionally, Baker hires designers, manages art-related enterprises and is responsible for all casting initiatives.

A two-time Best Actor and Director Carbonell Award recipient, Baker was nominated eleven times as the Best Actor and Director at the Carbonell Awards. A further testament to his success, Baker was selected by the US Government to be an Armenian Theatrical Representative in 2001 and he was nominated six times for the Barrymore Awards for Excellence in Theatre as well.

 

Throughout the course of his training, Baker attended the University of Freiberg, Neighborhood Playhouse and the Juilliard School. When he is not working, Baker enjoys outdoor activities, traveling to Maine and composing music. Baker is Dedicating this recognition to his partner at Bristol Riverside Theatre, Susan D.
