Tere Beard is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the Health and Wellness field. A Coaching and Wellness consulting firm, Bienestar Integrado is a clinic that offers strategies in promoting a healthier lifestyle, holistically. Beard’s professional title is Speaker, Author, Health Coach and Pranic Healer at Bienestar Integrado (Integrated Holistic Wellness).
She specializes in working with individuals, groups and communities. Her program offers a free evaluation of a client’s lifestyle and desired goals, followed-up by a six-month program “offered to help the client adopt a healthy lifestyle, offering services that promote ideal weight and proper hormonal function, reduced stress and improved relationships, professional life and spirituality,” according to her website. In addition to being a Health Coach, Beard is the founder of www.bienestarintegrado.com, a website where professionals collaborate for the well-being of others, and is a published author and speaker, focusing on the many techniques one can incorporate to achieve a harmonious life. Previously, Beard held positions at Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle – as an Account Manager and Public Sector Specialist, and at EVERTEC, Inc., as a Customer Relationship Manager.
Some of her accomplishments in those positions include establishing government strategy for Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands and closing the second largest government contract in Latin America. Throughout the course of her education and training, Beard earned a BSIE degree in Industrial Systems and Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1981. She then attended technical courses at UCLA, the Lean Institute of Technology and several Solution Selling Institutes.
Later, she graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NY while obtaining certification as a Pranic Healer by the Pranic Healing Center. To further her professional development, Beard is a member of the National Association of Professional Women and of the Puerto Rico Toastmasters Club, where she is the Treasurer. When not working, she volunteers her time as a Board member of Hogardel Buen Pastor, which provides shelter to homeless adults (over 18 years old) as well as a two-year holistic rehabilitation program. Additionally, she enjoys hiking, reading, dancing, yoga and going to the beach.
