Elizabeth Jonel Ferguson Kinser is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the Nursing field. Jonel Kinser serves as a Clinical Audit Coordinator at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, part of Wake Forest Baptist Health in the area of Clinical Services, for the Department of Revenue Integrity. She brings close to 30 years of nursing experience to her role, and her expertise lies in the area of helping co-workers, patients, and families with their clinically based financial questions. Our goal is to care for the patients’ physical health as well as their financial health. Regarded for her reliability and professionalism, Jonel Kinser handles government and third party billing audits and appeals for Wake Forest Baptist Health.
She often works with other team members within the organization to facilitate a resolution in regards to the patients billing concerns. She has worked closely with the compliance department to resolve select billing compliance issues. Jonel Kinser earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Winston Salem State University, as well as her Associate’s degree in Nursing from Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College. In recognition of her achievements she was recently selected as one of the Best 100 Nurses in North Carolina by the American Health Council. She has been recognized by Elite American Health Professionals Outstanding Nursing Award 2015, and she received the Worldwide Who’s Who Humanitarian Award 2016.
To further her professional development, Jonel Kinser is a member of the National Association of Professional Women, American Nurses Association, and the North Carolina Nurses Association. When not working she volunteers her time to her church and community. She supports several charities most dear to her is the Shriners Children’s Hospital and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. In addition Ms. Kinser is a board member for her families’ nonprofit charity which provides various scholarships to nursing students and has helped brand new nursing programs.
