Gina Arsenault, MSN, RN, CNL, is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field of Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing. Established since 1979 and licensed since 1980, a nonprofit hospital, Haven Hospice offers a comprehensive network of services. Haven Hospital has become, “North Florida’s expert in end-of-life and palliative care” and was the recipient of the, “Circle of Life Award from the American Hospital Association for its excellence and innovation.” In her current role, Arsenault serves as a Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse at Haven Hospice, which offers expert, caring, dedicated, palliative and hospice nursing care.
Throughout the course of her career, Arsenault has gained extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially hospice and palliative care, nursing chemotherapy and PICC Line insertion, and brings 24 years of field experience to her role. Prior to joining the team at Haven Hospice, Arsenault worked as a Registered Nurse at Staff America, where she continues to fulfill staffing needs at facilities with contracts with Staff America, in her spare time. “I attribute my success to my passion for helping others as well as my strong work ethic, Arsenault said. “I assist my patients from my heart and truly care for them.” Throughout the course of her education and training, Arsenault earned her Masters of Science in Nursing degree from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
Currently a student in the inaugural online doctoral program at Sacred Heart, she inspires to make an impact with her community, as well as local and far reaching communities, within the realm of hospice and palliative care and to gain greater acceptance of such a needed service. To further her professional development, she is a member of the American Nurses Association, and has been credentialed as a Clinical Nurse Leader by the Certified Nurse Credentialing Center of the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)– and has been honored as a member of INAHP, in “recognition for excellence and leadership in the provision of care in the nursing and healthcare community.” When not working, Arsenault enjoys spending quality time with her eight-year-old and going to the beach.
