Patrick M. Roney

 

Patrick M. Roney is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the Legal field. Roney’s professional title is Partner at Roney & Knupp Attorneys at Law. His expertise lies in the areas of real estate law, traffic tickets and personal injury. “Admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Federal Court of the United States – Eastern District of Wisconsin in May, 2004, Roney began his legal career at Dowling & Blumefield, LLP, working on criminal, estate planning and personal injury matters,” the firm’s website states.

“In 2005, Roney began working with Hills Legal Group, Ltd., as a defense attorney for complex civil and small claims personal injury matters.” Roney earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in both Psychology and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, graduating with Summa cum Laude honors in 2000. He then went on to complete his Juris Doctor on a full scholarship to Marquette University Law School. While working toward his Juris Doctor, he served as a legal aid to Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Kitty Brennan.

Additionally, Roney took night courses as an undergraduate student to become a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). In order to pay for his school tuition, he worked part-time as an EMT for Bell Ambulanc and the Elm Grove Rescue Squad. In recognition of his outstanding accomplishments in the field, Roney was selected to Super Lawyers as a 2012 Wisconsin Rising Star. He was also featured in the December, 2012 edition of Milwaukee Magazine as well as the January, 2013 edition of Madison Magazine.

When not working, Roney volunteers his time to AmeriCorps NCCC and the American Red Cross. He also has spent time coaching the Mediation Moot Court Team at Marquette University in 2008, continuing his relationship with his alma mater.
