Julia A. Neuweiler, GMCS (SW) is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the Military field in recognition of her role as Senior Chief Petty Officer Gunner’s Mate of the US Navy.
Having served in the United States Military for over fifteen years, Julia A. Neuweiler is revered for her outstanding service. Serving as Ordnance Inspector for 12 Shipboard Explosive Safety Inspections and four shore-based Explosive Safety Inspections, Neuweiler qualified 4 ESI and SESI Inspectors in Programs 10, 13, and 15 for Ammunition Management ashore and afloat. Throughout her career, Neuweiler has refined and conducted ammunition accountability briefs for deploying surface vessels and Coast Guard armories, reducing requisition error by 93%. In addition, she has continued training and reduced high priority orders by 75%, saving over 2 million dollars in expedited transportation costs.
A Certified Manager and Ordnance Artificer of the U.S. Department of Labor, throughout the course of her education and training, Neuweiler earned her BASc in Workforce Education and Development Training from Southern Illinois University. Thereafter, Neuweiler would go on to obtain her Master of Arts degree in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma.
In an effort to further enhance her professional development, Neuweiler is an esteemed member of several elite organizations including the National Association of Professional Women; Sea Service Leadership Association; Catholic Church Association; American Red Cross; and Navy & Marine Corps Relief Society
A distinguished author, Neuweiler has published six articles in the Ordnance Newsletter providing guidance and training on Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDR), OIS Access forms, OIS resources, OIS account lock and deletion prevention, and Ordnance Handling Equipment (OHE) tracked in OIS by Navy Ammunition Logistics Code (NALC), and multiple ordnance discrepancy reporting tools.
In recognition of her professional accolades, Neuweiler is the recipient of the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and named Sailor of the Year
When she is not working, Neuweiler enjoys fictional writing and staying in shape.
