Dr. Joseph Kan, Ph.D. is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Education as a result of his role as Professor and Dean Emeritus with the University of Alaska – Fairbanks. Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Kan served ten years as the Dean of Graduate School (University-Wide) overseeing Graduate Student Programs. He also taught and researched for the Geophysical Institute primarily in the area of Space Physics. In addition, Dr. Kan has had several breakthroughs which will appear in his upcoming paper on Magneto Storms and Substorms, supporting his previous paper in 2011. Dr. Kan earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from Cheng Kung University in Taiwan as well as a MS in Electrical Engineering (Ionospheric Physics) from Washington State University, Pullman.
Furthermore, Dr. Kan holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the University of California, San Diego and completed Two Year Post-Doctoral Studies in the School of Engineering and Radio Sciences from Dartmouth College.
