Christine L. Harding is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of her contributions to the field of Administrative Services. Island Hearts is an administrative and notary services business that provides their clients with the quality services that they deserve. The company seeks out in the best interest of their clients by providing service in the areas of bookkeeping, data entry and more. As a Legal Assistant and Bookkeeper at a law firm in her hometown, Harding utilizes her expertise in administrative assisting, bookkeeping, data entry, QuickBooks, officiating weddings and time management. Most notably, she has achieved the distinction of Certified Mobile Notary, enabling her to provide notary services in counties other than her own. With a career spanning over 25 years, Harding has worked in a series of positions for the likes of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust and Jesup Memorial Library. “I am flexible in my skill set,” Harding said. “I work freelance and I volunteer for nonprofits part-time. I also solemnize marriages and provide notarial services part-time.” Holding her values close to her professional pursuits, Harding’s goal is to, “earn a living to help support my family,” she said. Harding hopes that through dedication and persistence through the engagement of her community, she will be able to, “pass on to my children values that will serve them well as they age. Work hard to accomplish goals, be kind to [yourself] and [others] and serve [your] community.” Throughout the course of her education, Harding attained her Associates Degree in Business Management and General Banking Diploma. To further her professional development, Harding is a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals, the Informed Notary of Maine and the National Association of Professional Women, which honored her as a VIP Woman of the Year. Harding also cites Faye A. Geel as her professional mentor. When not working, Harding volunteers with the YMCA Mount Desert, local Cystic Fibrosis Foundation annual walkathon, and the Jesup Memorial Library. She also enjoys spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren. She dedicates this recognition in loving memory of her grandmother, Lettie M. Long, as well as her family.
