Raymond Mattern Trageser is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Insurance as a Retired Insurance Company Executive.
Now retired, Mr. Trageser led an impressive career for over five decades. He previously owned a business where he served as a commercial editor, remaining open from 1992 to 2004. Prior to establishing his firm, he worked at Transamerica Insurance for twenty-six years. Dedicated to offering expert insurance and banking services, he was promoted to vice president and remained at the insurance company until he retired in 1990.
Devoted to his country, Mr. Trageser served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. In 1957, he was honorably discharged. After leaving the military, he served at Continental Insurance as an underwriter, ascending the ranks to senior underwriter.
In recognition of academic achievements, Mr. Trageser enrolled in courses at Duquesne University from 1952 to 1954, the University of Pittsburgh from 1959 to 1961, Columbia University, the University of Southern California, and various other universities.
Fully licensed in many states, Mr. Trageser maintains affiliations with the Insurance Association of New York, Insurance Federation of Pennsylvania, Vesper Club, Urban Club, Rotary International, and Casualty and Property Managers Association of Philadelphia where he serves as president.
Honored for his success, Mr. Trageser received the most profitable office, profiled in numerous editions of Who’s Who in the East and the 10th edition of Who’s Who in the World.
Mr. Trageser dedicates this recognition to Deborah Ann, his brother Paul, and in loving memory of his wife Ann Mane.
