Cheryl J. Wilkinson is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Non-Profit Management. Her current role is Founder and CEO of Transitional Assistance, Inc. Transitional Assistance, Inc., is a nonprofit organization that advocates for both veterans and their families when veterans are making the transition from military service to the civilian sector and into a new career. The company also assists with retirement and future planning or additional support services. Cheryl and her staff are making the transition smoother and a less stressful process for those who have contacted Transitional Assistance, Inc. The corporation’s motto, “Connecting Veterans and Their Families to the Community,” defines what they do. Following her 23-year military career with the U.S. Army, Cheryl created Transitional Assistance, Inc., on May 1, 2014. She now devotes her time to her passion for helping our Nation’s Veterans transition to their new respective lives. With her main focus on quality of life improvement for veterans, Cheryl’s expertise in counseling, empowerment and life skills training assist her on a daily basis. Cheryl maintains affiliations with the Society of Human Resource Management, the International Women’s Leadership League, the Disabled American Veterans Association, the National Association of Professional Women, the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Army Engineer Association and the Military Police Regimental Association. After graduating from Columbia College with her Bachelor’s degree in General Studies with a focus on Human Resources, Cheryl went on to earn her Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University.
