Claudette E. Banks is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals as a result of her role as Senior Director of Human Resources with Grainger Industrial Supply. As a global leader in the distribution of industrial supplies, tools and materials and MRO equipment, Grainger Industrial Supply provides repair, maintenance and operational support, goods and services for businesses around the world. With 16 years of industry experience, Claudette has been in this role for a year. She specializes in all aspects of human resources, and holds SPHR, SHRM-SCP, and SWP certifications. Claudette works in the areas of change management, leadership development and business-unit restructuring as well as rewards and recognition, employee advocacy and employee engagement. Priding her success on her determination to execute well and by establishing trust and strong relations, Claudette’s advice to those entering the industry is: “to be successful in Human Resources, it is critically important that you understand and can articulate business strategy and demonstrate the ability to enable people to deliver results.” To further her professional development, Claudette is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management, Executive Club of Chicago and National Association of Professional Women, which recognized her as a VIP Woman of The Year. When she is not working, she enjoys mentoring others, traveling and attending recreational and professional sports activities. Claudette studied Business Administration and Finance at Roosevelt University.
