Gathering over ten years of experience in the field of Nursing, Sallian Wildeman Cox is revered for her outstanding contributions to the industry. Throughout her career, Cox has attained extensive expertise in the areas of Urological Oncology, Midwife and Traumatology Nurse. Cox has always had a yearning for “helping people in their greatest time of need in tough situations.” When asked her advice to newcomers in the industry, Cox states, “It is a calling. Be prepared to give up your social life, but it is very rewarding.” Cox attributes her success to always striving “to do better” and wanting to know why. Cox states that it is important to find that “balance in life, a burn-out is no joke. Look after yourself, then are able to enjoy life and find motivation to care for others.”
A prominent scholar currently teaching a course in college called, “Nursing Aspects in Urology.” Cox is currently studying for her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree, in hopes of pursuing a career in urology oncology nursing.
In an effort to further enhance her professional development, Cox is an elite member of several organizations including the European Association of Urology Nurses and the European Oncology Nursing Society.
In looking to the future, Cox hopes to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
