Dr. Craig D. Morgan, MD is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Platinum Lifetime Member in the field of Sports Medicine in recognition of his role as an Orthopedic Surgeon at Morgan Kalman Clinic. Serving patients for over twenty five years, Morgan Kalman Clinic is a sports medicine specialist specializing in educating orthopedic surgeons on the latest arthroscopic and surgical procedures of the elbow, hip, knee and shoulder including Non-surgical Treatments; Regenerative Therapies; and Arthroscopic & Orthopedic Surgery. Amassing over eighteen years of experience in the field of Sports Medicine, Dr. Morgan has held many prestigious titles throughout his career including, Assistant Clinical Professor of Thomas Jefferson University, and Secretary of the International Knee Society and the International Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Association. Many arthroscopic techniques used by today’s surgeons were developed by Dr. Morgan. Additionally, Dr. Morgan holds numerous U.S. patents on arthroscopic surgical instruments and has been a pioneer in the medical industry within the areas of cartilage transplantation, meniscus repair, anterior/posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, shoulder reconstruction, and labral repair particularly in baseball pitchers. Throughout his career, Dr. Morgan has attained expertise as an Arthroscopic Specialist, Teacher, Speaker, and Medical Care Consultant for Olympic-level athletes and players on the LPGA tour. Throughout the course of his education and training, Dr. Morgan graduated Cum Laude at Hope College and from Emory University Medical School. Later, Dr. Morgan went on to complete his residency at the University of Michigan. To further his professional development, Dr. Morgan is an affiliate of several organizations including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, The International Society of Arthroscopy and Orthopedic Sports Medicine, The American Shoulder and Elbow Society, The Philadelphia Orthopedic Society and the Philadelphia Orthopedic Society Sports Medicine Society. Charitable to various organizations, Dr. Morgan supports charities in the fight of ALS. Having served as an associate editor of the Journal of Arthroscopy and a renowned author, Dr. Morgan has published more than fifty articles in peer reviewed journals and presented more than 220 papers at both national and international orthopedic meetings. In recognition of his professional accolades, Dr. Morgan was listed in Who’s Who in America and the World of Science and Engineering. When he is not working, Dr. Morgan enjoys Fly Fishing, playing the guitar, boating and traveling.
